Joe Fulwood is a Global Engagement and Communications Officer at the GCSCC, where he oversees stakeholder relationships, contributes to research projects, and manages events and communications. He brings over four years of experience in international cybersecurity research and capacity building, including conducting national cybersecurity reviews for multiple countries. His expertise spans policy analysis and strategic communications, with a particular interest in emerging technology security challenges and their implications for international development and security.
Prior to joining the GCSCC, Joe served as a Research and Project Officer and Marketing and Communications Manager at the Oceania Cyber Security Centre (OCSC). There, he played a key role in delivering CMM reviews for Pacific Island nations and helped organise the inaugural Pacific Cyber Capacity Building and Coordination Conference (P4C).
Joe holds a Master of International Relations from the University of Melbourne and a dual Bachelor's degree in Social Science and Arts, majoring in International Development, from the University of Queensland.
