Workshop: Improving Cyber Capacity Building (CCB) Evaluation Practice. Road to GC3B Geneva 2025
The workshop is organised by the GCSCC, Integrity and Royal Holloway University London Information Security Group in support of the GFCE's Strategy and Assessments Working Group.
We are pleased to invite the CBB community to this hybrid workshop which will take place as a side event of the GCSCC Annual Conference: The workshop builds upon the successful workshop at the Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building (GC3B) in Accra/Ghana in November 2023. It will bring together funders, implementers, recipients, and evaluation practitioners to discuss challenges and solutions in evaluating impact of CCB but also areas such evaluation of process and value for money, for instance.
Agenda:
- Summary of the outcomes from the two sessions led by the GCSCC at the GC3B (consolidated feedback)
- Presentation of the project plan for developing evaluation solutions, to be presented at the next GC3B in Geneva 2025
- Discussion on the four pillars of the project plan: theory, data, evaluation analysis methods, evaluation use. What has been done? What are we working on? What is missing? Who can do what to fill these gaps (volunteers, engagement, funding)?
- Presenting the draft for a universal typology for CCB interventions – building consensus on CCB activities
- Next steps
