Morocco CMM Review in Progress
The GCSCC is pleased to announce that the first CMM review of Morocco is in progress. On invitation of the General Directorate of Informations Systems Security (DGSSI) we concluded a series of multistakeholder workshops with cybersecurity experts. The GCSCC echoes the DGSSI of Morocco to say that this CMM review is timely and will be key in the planned revision of Morocco's National Cybersecurity Strategy.
This review is also among the first ones to have a hybrid implementation; a blend of in-person and remote participation was employed. Since it's first launch in 2015, the GCSCC has conducted CMM reviews more than 120 times and in more than 85 countries. The Centre has also conducted more than 35 reassessments. This has enabled the GCSCC and its partners to compare and provide a bigger picture and trends of cybersecurity maturity of countries and regions over different years.
We would like to express our gratitude to the DGSSI for the well-organized and fruitful multistakeholder workshops that provided rich discussions on the state of cybersecurity in the country.
